Certified Heavy Duty Structural Steel Cantilever Storage Rack For Long Materials Storage

Structural steel cantilever racks are designed to store long products with a heavyweight. It adopts vertical structural steel columns to stand at the rear of the racks. Columns are connected with a horizontal base help stabilize the structure and to support the bottom load on the ground. Special arms extend from the back of columns to support loads.

For the stability of whole systems, horizontal and diagonal bracings need to be set between adjacent columns. Structural steel cantilever racks could be configured as single-sided or double-sided columns that attach vertically adjustable arms. These arms are bolted securely to the columns and can be angled to retain loads.

The significant benefit of this configuration is the front of the rack is wide-open for storing and unloading a wide variety of long, bulky, or awkward materials. Both columns and arms are fabricated by “H” or “I” structural steel, which is heavy-duty and can be easily reconfigured to store long items such as heavy furniture, building materials, steel pipe, lumber, etc.

Cantilever racks can be used indoors or outdoors with roofs designed at the top. In addition, a cantilever rack can be added with decks between the nearest arms to provide similar storage space to pallet racks, but highlighted advantage is having no front columns to make loading and unloading much more immediately accessible, saving materials handling time and improving the efficiency of operations.
