Based on very narrow aisle racks (VNA), the system features with same size open storage positions providing full selectivity and accessibility. The aisle in the racking, though relatively narrow, is still enough for stack cranes to walk and operate.

Stacking Cranes

Intelligent cranes in this ASRS fulfill the duty of cargo placing and picking in the racking aisles like forklifts do in the ordinary storage system. In the crane, an inserted database that connects to the computer is just like the driver of the forklift that controls the automatic storage and retrieval.

In this database, product information including pallet numbers and positions is accurately recorded. Operators can use related functions in the computer to manage cranes and inventory situations automatically.
