Carton Flow Racking system, which is also called Carton Live
Storage, is best suited for storing cartons and light products in
high density, making better use of available space compared with
the standard conventional selective racking system and greatly
improving stock turnover rate.
Since it is called live pallet racking system, efficient product
rotation can be ensured in this semi-automatic system. It follows
FIFO (First in, First out) storage rotation order, and interference
is avoided by differentiating loading and unloading areas.
Loading area and unloading area are respectively at the two ends of
the system, while the movement of pallets in the system is driven
by gravity, which saves operating time and labor costs. Based on
its characteristics, carton flow racking system is perfectly fit
for warehouses with a large volume of manual picking operations.
How Does Carton Flow Racking System Work?
In the Carton flow racking system or Carton Live storage system,
under the function of gravity, once cartons are placed on the
loading end, cartons will automatically slide along slightly
inclined wheel carriers toward the unloading end.
Different lane levels are independent and cartons at different
lanes can move at the same time. The system can be adapted to
accommodate different unit loads, making it a very versatile system
for carton picking.
